The upcoming New Year could be a critical year for the U.S. commercial real estate industry, with geopolitical, economic and local regulatory issues under a microscope.
The economic activity has been resilient, along with a strong property fundamentals, low interest rates and attractive real estate as an asset class are the primary factors contributing to the positive outlook for 2020. According to the CBRE’s 2020 U.S. Outlook, a recession will be avoided mostly due to the effects of the Feb’s rate cut in 2019.
